Robert Coursen, PTA at METRO SPORTSMED® Physical and Occupational Therapy will discuss the causes and treatments of Balance Disorders. This lecture will include understanding the possible underlying diagnosis and management of orthopedic, neurologic,
and arthritic conditions. Most therapy services are covered by insurance plans.

In collaboration with the Brooklyn Public Library, Senior Helpers will be sponsoring an educational workshop series designed for the family caregiver of aging loved ones. The objective of the series, You and Your Aging Parent, is to provide the family of the elderly the resources and knowledge to feel empowered in the role of caregiver.
